his mum knows this babysitter
who got a job in a large house near bournemouth
so
tha night the babysitter goes round to the house around 8.00
its dark cause its winter
ok,
so thse parents say to the babysitter 'The baby tends to cry at night before she sleeps; Any troubles call us'
so they go for the night out
the sitter puts the baby to bed as soon as the parents go
and puts the Tv on low
so she can hear the baby monitor
about 830
the baby starts crying
the sitter goes upstairs
the baby has kicked off its covers and writhed into the far corner of the cot
the sitter puts the baby to sleep
doesnt call the parents, doesnt think its a problem
oh god i get scared just telling this
so
8.45
the baby starts crying
louder this time
sitter goes upstairs
puts the baby to bed
(this IS a true story, for the record)
she calls the parents
Who dont really want to come home
they just tell her to put it to sleep again a couple more times and they agree that they will come home should it happen more than twice again
ok
so
the baby starts up cying, and the sitter puts it to bed (around 9.00)
and the cycle happens again at 9.05
so
the sitter calls the parents
who say 'well we really dont want to come home; couldnt you just check if there are any toys around scaring her?'
sitter puts the phone on hold
goes upstairs
gets back on the phone, says' No, nothing, just that 6 foot clown mannequin'
parents reply

...

turns out it was a freak who ran around scraing kids in his clown suit in dead of night
bt the baby sitter ran upstairs bravely, grabbed the baby, and ran away
